CTRLer (controller) is the ultimate musical project of J., after his experience in several bands and mainly in the industrial rock band Jennifer in Latex.

CTRLer style takes influences from european new electronic trends, developing a complex sound based on distortion, fast loops, poweful breaks and experimentation, but always with melody in mind.

Annoyed with the current music market establishment, J created his own label called Error Deluxe Records in 2004, where he releases most of his music. He has also done several collaborations on compilations worldwide, on labels as DTA Records (USA), Invasion Wreck Chords (Belarus), Caustic Records (Spain),...

CTRLer has also done collaborations as guitarrist on bands as Ambassador 21 (Belarus), Placid (Spain) or Circus (Spain), and he has remixed bands as MMTM (USA), Proyecto Mirage (Spain), Schizoid (Canada), Stin Scatzor (Belgium), Hansel (USA), Myself (Spain), Sober (Spain),...

For live acts, CTRLer has 3 ways of performing: DJ sessions as CTRLer DJ, live acts with a bigger experimental component, and the most poweful gigs closer to electronic punk and rock, supported by the singer Pablo Giaretta, frontman of the spanish band Circus.

The musical experience of J began back in 1990, playing guitar in some bands as Edad Glacial or some years later in Vagabundo en Venus. The fist demos of J as guitarrist and singer come from those early 90s.

In 1996, J changed his musical approach and he recorded some demos which some months later it would become in the project Jennifer in Latex , He managed to join together a complete band to play live, and in 1999 came out the first full release of Jennifer in Latex for the spanish label Surco, a self-named debut that it is still a reference in the industrial rock made in Spain.

After this, J did different works signed as Jennifer in Latex, he created some original soundtracks for the spanish director Ivan Sainz-Pardo (nowadays operating from Germany), or he did lots of collaborations as guitarrist in bands as Placid o Circus, and he created also the first works signed as CTRLer.

With all of those different musical projects, J has played live all around Europe on festivals as MaschinenFest (Germany), EVANTEC (Spain), the Forms of Hands Festival (Germany) or the Resistance Festival (Slovakia and U.K.), with international artists as Alec Empire, Metallica, Covenant, In Flames, Proyecto Mirage, Needle Sharing, Panacea, Winterkalte, Stone Sour or Klinik.
